Overview
ATI is an African institution. We understand the challenges faced by countries in the region. We have established strong partnerships built on trust and commitment to promoting shared trade and investment objectives within each African country.
African member states are required to back up this commitment by entering into a Participation Agreement with ATI, which outlines the legal responsibilities governing both ATI's and each country's obligations.
ATI and our members believe that it is in everyone’s best interest to resolve disputes with governments of member states before they escalate into a claims situation. This shared commitment coupled with ATI's financial strength and willingness to pay claims gives security to investors and exporters.
